Gifford Youth Achievement Center celebrates 20 years Jan. 27

GIFFORD – Come celebrate the 20-year history of Gifford Youth Achievement Center on Jan. 27 at the elegant Oak Harbor Club from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Cocktails will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the front reception area accompanied by the music of the Gifford Youth Orchestra.

An incredible dinner will follow as guests enjoy a look into the history of how GYAC came to fruition through the efforts of Danford K. Richardson, the Reverend Dr. William Nigh, Dr. A. Ron Hudson and community leaders and supporters.

Guests will also be treated to a personal testimonial by one of the GYAC students who will share her personal experiences with the teachers and mentors of GYAC.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Lionheart Band throughout the evening and continue after dinner for dancing and fun. There is also a fabulous raffle.  Raffle ticket holders need not be present to win.
