Flock to New Year’s Eve with the Landsharks Band at the Heritage Center

VERO BEACH – Vero Heritage, Inc., rings in the New Year with a fundraising fete to benefit the preservation and promotion of the Heritage Center and the Indian River Citrus Museum.

“The Heritage Center has been hosting parties and community events since 1935, so a modern New Year’s Eve party is consistent with what the community has been doing here for years – both making history and making new memories,” said Alex Soares, executive director.  “Of course, the added twist is that this party is also a fundraiser for our organization. Fundraisers enable us to properly preserve this national landmark.”

Just as the Heritage Center is a locally favorite venue, the Landsharks Band is a locally favorite music group.  The Landsharks Band is fun and interactive band – very entertaining, and know how to get a crowd going. They are excellent, top-notch musicians, who are also great showmen.  They play several Vero Beach venues throughout the year, but special guests as well as a chance to meet the band at a VIP pre-party will surely set this performance apart.

Special guest musicians Ed Anderson and Amy Lee will share the Heritage Center stage.  Ed Anderson is a world-renown steel drummer who performs regularly in Disney and Universal.

Recently, Ed was honored to be a participant in the 2017 Ellie Mannete Steel Drum Festival. Ellie Mannete is widely known as the inventor of the steel drums.  Amy Lee was saxophone player for Jimmy Buffett for 13 years and has also played with several other famous artists including the Neville Brothers and more.

Doors open at 9:30 p.m., but guests are encouraged to grab the limited VIP tickets that include a pre-party to meet the band, one free cocktail/beverage and entries to win Landsharks prizes.

All admission prices include sliders, hors d’oeuvres &champagne toast at the stroke of midnight. A cash bar will be available on our patio all night as guests bop to the trop-rock tunes.

And, for the daring or die-hards, there will also be an optional Parrothead costume contest.

General admission tickets are $50 and VIP tickets are $80. Tickets may be purchased at Eventbrite or by calling Vero Heritage, Inc at 772-770-2263.
