Pietro Bertolini, 77, Sebastian

Pietro Bertolini, 77, of Sebastian, passed away Dec. 9, 2017 at Palm Bay Hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Vagli Sotto, Italy, to Celide (Bacile) Bertolini and the late Natale Bertolini.

He was owner/operator of the former Villa Doro II Deli Delicatessen.

He is the beloved husband of Caterina (Loiero) Bertolini; father of Elizabeth (Anthony) Prudenti, Frances (Mikko) Red Arrow, and Peter Bertolini; cherished grandfather of Brandon, A.J. and Cathryn Prudenti, Gianna Red Arrow; brother of Gigi D’Amico and Dominik Bertolini; and grandfather of the late Bianca Red Arrow.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, Dec. 14, from 4 – 7 p.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 South Fleming Street, Sebastian.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church at 11am with burial to follow at Sebastian City Cemetery.

Mary Estep, 96, Sebastian

Mary Estep, 96, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully on Dec. 9, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 22, 1921, she lived in New York City, upstate New York, and Tennessee, before moving to Sebastian in 1998.

Mary was a loving and caring person, who will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Susan, Harold, and Darlene; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold J. Estep, in 1990.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to VNA Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.

 

 

Robert Lee Hamilton, 82, Winter Beach

Robert Lee Hamilton, 82, of Winter Beach, died Dec. 8, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. Bobby was born in Ft. Pierce and has been a lifetime resident of Indian River County, the past 44 years in Winter Beach.

He served in the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves.

Bobby had a long career as a harvesting supervisor, working for Gracewood Citrus, Golden River Packing and Riverfront Groves. He worked at Piper Aircraft for 12 years before.  In his later years he did deliveries for Advanced Auto Parts.

He was a member of King’s Baptist Church, Vero Beach, where he served the church as a Deacon. Bobby was an avid fisherman and enjoyed time spent in the outdoors.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Hamilton, of Winter Beach; sons, Lamar Hamilton (LeeAnn), of Vero Beach, Ronnie Hamilton (Robyn), of Sebastian, Dean Hamilton (Brenda), of Sebastian, and Norman Hamilton (Cindy), of Vero Beach; daughter, Fonda Johnston (David), of Vero Beach; brother, Doug Hamilton, of White City; sisters, Maxine Bass, of Winter Beach, and Margie Lee, of Lamont; 10 grandchildren, Thomas Hamilton (Erica), Emily Hamilton (Josh), Candace Smith, Katelyn Hamilton (Jesse), Shelbie Matheison (Brian), Chris Hamilton (Sarah), Cassie Hamilton (John), Cody Hamilton, Reece Johnston and Trevor Johnston; and  eight great-grandchildren, Makayla Davis, Jonathan Hamilton, Owen Taylor, Bailey Lowery, Sophia Bello, Corban Matheison, Colbie Taylor and Amelia Matheison.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Pearl Hamilton; three brothers, Johnny Hamilton, Clyde Hamilton and Joe Hamilton; and a sister, Virgie Reams.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Robert Lee Hamilton.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, at King’s Baptist Church, Vero Beach. A Funeral Service will be held 12 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 14, at King’s Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Ellis and Rev. Keith Hamilton officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
