Vero Beach Art Club, SpringHill raise $2,500 for Oslo Middle

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Vero Beach Art Club and SpringHill Marriott hosted its fifth “Art-Tini Night” fundraiser and art sale on Nov. 9. A check for $2,500 was presented to Oslo Middle School, to benefit their Student Arts Program. Each year this event helps the arts programs in Indian River Schools.

Art-Tini Night featured an exhibit of 32 student artists from Oslo Middle School. First, second and third place ribbons and gift certificates were awarded.

The Oslo Middle and Storm Grove Middle Schools String Quartets performed during the evening event. Refreshments were provided by SpringHill Marriott.

SpringHill Marriott owner Keith Kite and his wife, Kay, purchased two of the paintings, and congratulated winners Cathleen Hahn “Dawn’s Early Light” and Judy Rixom “Sunrise Vero Beach”. The paintings will hang in the hotel meeting room.

The winners of the VBAC miniature show were awarded ribbons and gift certificates.
