Two flown to trauma centers after rollover crash

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Two people were flown to trauma centers after a vehicle overturned late Sunday, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said.

Troopers went to the crash about 7 p.m. Sunday at westbound State Road 60 and 150th Avenue, according to the FHP traffic site. The crash was west of Interstate 95 and north of Florida’s Turnpike in southern Indian River County.

One person was flown to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne and another person was flown to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce, said FHP spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky.

Their conditions were not immediately available. The FHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
