Genealogical Society celebrates holiday with Family Heirlooms, Keepsakes and Traditions

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The Indian River Genealogical Society is pleased to announce our annual holiday celebration following the annual meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

The meeting is to be held at the Indian River County Main Library, 1600 21st Street, Vero Beach.  The annual meeting convenes at 10 a.m., followed by holiday refreshments and the program.  The meeting is free and open to the public.

Family, friends and treats are central to the holiday season. Join the group for delicious goodies as a dozen IRGS members display a special keepsake connected to their family’s history and share its story. Family treasures, no matter their value, help connect us to those who came before us. Listen to other’s stories and get inspired to record the history of your own special heirloom.
