Frederic Lawrence Cook, 90, Vero Beach
Frederic Lawrence Cook, born May 2, 1927, died unexpectedly in Vero Beach, on Oct. 25, 2017. He was the son of Frederic and Ruth W. Cook.
He spent his life in Beaver, Pa., where he and his wife, Donna Lee, raised four sons. He was in the construction business for many years and owned his own construction company.
Following the divorce, Fred moved to Sewickley, Pa., where he met and married Ann Wyckoff Wendt. In 1991 they moved to Vero Beach where they enjoyed golfing with their friends at Riomar.
Fred was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan where he held season tickets for many years.
Besides his wife, Ann, he leaves his sons, Rick, Tim (Kim), Jeffrey (Renay) and Robin Suzanne); 10 grandchildren; and three stepchildren, Scott Wendt, Peyton Berry and Peter Wendt.
There will be a private service in Sewickley, Pa., at a later date.
