Executive Roundtable of IRC adds new community leader

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The Executive Roundtable of Indian River County is a group of executive level community leaders from the school system, law enforcement, government and social service organizations, who come together to identify solutions and accomplish system changes that will protect and enhance the lives of Indian River County children, individuals, families and senior residents.

The group has invited a new community leader to take a seat at the table bringing the number of voting members to 24.

The newest member is Paul Nigro, who is the Circuit Director of the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program. He initially joined Guardian ad Litem in 2006 as a Case Coordinator, promoted to Program Director in 2014 before he was promoted once more this past fall to his current position.

He received his Bachelor of Art and Master of Science degrees from Southern New Hampshire University and in 2018 will complete his Certification in Public Management from Florida State University.

Nigro is the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Child Welfare Network for St. Lucie County and recipient of the 2017 Child Welfare Excellence Award for DCF’s Southeast Region.

The Round table’s initial focus is Kids at Hope, a national concept that demonstrates that all children are capable of success, with no exceptions.
