Publix Charities donates $2,500 to Women’s Refuge

VERO BEACH – The Women’s Refuge of Vero Beach recently received a $2,500 donation from Publix Charities. The donation is designated for its 20th Year Anniversary Gala, which will take place at First Church of God on Friday, Nov. 17,  at 6 p.m.

Dr. Wayne L. Creelman, a member of their Advisory Board, clinical psychiatrist, and mental health advocate will be the Keynote Speaker. There will be music presentations by MaryAnn Lee Rutter and members of the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. A special gourmet dinner will be served by New Orleans, Louisiana International Chef Rich Lee.

Refuge founder Donna Lee Robart is deeply thankful for the support received from Publix Charities.

She says, “Publix has been our faithful grocery store all these 20 years!”

The Anniversary Gala is an opportunity to celebrate, hear about the ongoing work of this marvelous ministry and financially support the ongoing needs. The Women’s Refuge is a 501c3 organization which receives no government funding and relies heavily on the prayers, gifts, and grants from their supporters.
