VERO BEACH – Walking Tree Brewery will be releasing the latest two beers from its barrel aging program. Bourbon Barrel Aged Barnacled Manatee Barleywine and Bourbon Barrel Aged Breconshire Imperial Porter will be available for purchase in the tasting room while supplies last starting Friday Oct. 27 starting at 4 p.m. There is a limit of one case per person.
Barnacled Manatee Barleywine was awarded the 2017 Gold Medal at the “Best Florida Beer Awards.” Some of that award-winning batch has been patiently aging in freshly dumped bourbon barrels for eight months and is now ready for release.
Breconshire Imperial Porter is a robust porter that is only brewed once a year. This version was aged in bourbon barrels for 10 months and is ready to be enjoyed now or cellared in a cool place to continue to age.
