Police search for truck that sideswiped car

VERO BEACH — Police are looking for a black or dark blue pickup truck that side-swiped a white car last week when the car was traveling on Royal Palm Boulevard, police officials said.

The hit-and-run crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1000 block of Royal Palm Boulevard. The black or dark blue truck was driven by a man who struck the white car on its right side and then fled the scene.

The driver of the white car, which has an estimated $15,000 in damages, was treated by emergency medical services, police spokeswoman Anna Carden said.

Police are looking for a black or dark blue truck that side-swiped this white car.

The truck may have damage to the front left bumper, front left fender, the front left tire and rim, police said. The truck also might have white paint transfer on its front left side.
