Police search for auto burglary suspect

VERO BEACH — The search is on for a man accused of burglarizing a vehicle in a parking lot, police said.

Surveillance video shows the man trying to open several car doors shortly before 11 p.m. Sept. 22 in the American Legion parking lot at 1535 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach. Police said he committed at least one vehicle burglary when he stole some miscellaneous electronic items.

The subject in the video was trying car doors of several vehicles in the American Legion parking lot, and committed at least one vehicle burglary when he stole some miscellaneous electronics. The suspect is a white male in his teens or early 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall and thin build, with curly brown hair, wearing a black shirt with a gold logo, red pajama pants and slip on sandals. The man is described as white, in his teens or early 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build and curly brown hair. He was wearing a black shirt with a gold logo, red pajama pants and slip on sandals, according to police.
