Joyce Shelton Hanson, 92, Vero Beach
Joyce Shelton Hanson, 92, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born Sept. 1, 1924, in Richmond, Va., and moved to Vero Beach over 45 years ago, coming from Stafford County, Va.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach.
Ms. Hanson is survived by her daughter, Tenley Joyce Hanson, of Orlando, and one grandchild.
She was predeceased by son, Donald “Kent” Hanson in 2012 and her husband, Donald Edmund Hanson, in 2013.
Inurnment will take place 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Crestlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Vero Beach.
