Video – Police search for burglary suspects

Two men burglarize home in Vero Beach.

VERO BEACH — Police are searching for at least two men captured on video running from a house they burglarized, according to a police news release.

The burglary happened Monday night in the 2000 block of 31st Avenue in Vero Beach. The exact time was not available.

In the surveillance footage, the men hop over a fence and run toward the street. They were last seen running south on 32nd Avenue toward Church of Christ, 3306 20th St., the release states.

Nobody was home at the time of the incident, Vero Beach police spokeswoman Anna Carden said. Carden said a person who lives at the home reported several items missing worth about $3,000, including watches and cash.
