While waiting for the fireworks display,  presented by Mulligan’s Beach House Bar & Grill, children played in the Kid’s Zone, got an up-close- and-personal look at Vero Beach Police Department equipment and worked out with U.S. Army recruiters.

Food trucks offered an assortment of goodies and the Vero Beach Lifeguard Association again hosted the refreshing Beer Garden. The entertainment, hosted by 93.7 WGYL and B 94.7, featured Michelle Lambert and Johnny and the Blaze as well as country music artist Brian Collins.

As the sun began to set, revelers descended upon the park by boat, by bike and by foot and by the time “the rockets’ red glare” lit up the night sky crowds were lined up to watch from all possible viewing points, from the park to the bridges and everywhere in between.
