City of Fellsmere holds 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

FELLSMERE — Fifteen years after the 9/11 tragedy in 2001, the City of Fellsmere will hold a remembrance ceremony on the front lawn of the Old School at 3 p.m., Sept. 11, 2016.

The keynote speaker will be Col. Danny R. McKnight, author of “Streets of Mogadishu.” Guest speakers will include Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar, Fellsmere Police Department Chief Keith Touchberry, and Indian River County Fire Rescue Captain Joe Earman.

Fellsmere will come together as a community for quiet prayer and remembrance, ecumenical worship, and to celebrate freedom.
