BonWorth customers get 20% off with Humane Society donation through Sept. 15

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The BonWorth clothing store at the Vero Beach Outlet Mall announced it will be holding a “Dog Days of Summer” sale and pet supply drive from Aug. 19 through Sept. 15, with donations going to the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County.

Anyone donating money, pet food or treats, blankets, sheets or towels, pet toys or leashes and collars at their store will receive a 20 percent discount on store purchases. Make a donation to the Humane Society at the Vero Beach BonWorth on Sept. 14 and 15 and receive an additional 20 percent off the BonWorth’s special sale where all new arrivals will be reduced to $19.99.

The Vero Beach BonWorth’s pet supply drive is being coordinated by store manager Nancy Smith and store associate Charlotte Hines, with help from associates Kathy Galford, Barbara Kelly, Suzanne Nelson.

“We all love animals and several staff members have pets, so when we heard that the sale would be called the ‘Dog Days of Summer’ we agreed this was the right thing to do,” Hines said.

The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping and protecting the animals of Indian River County.
