County Chamber of Commerce hosts ‘How to Start a Small Business’ Aug. 16

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with SCORE, will sponsor a free workshop to discuss the “How to Start A Small Business,” on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce located at 1216 21st Street in historic downtown Vero Beach.

Attendees will be provided with information about startup fundamentals, marketing and business planning, financing, licenses, employee issues, business structures, and taxation and regulations. Once this session has been successfully completed, attendees will be better able to decide if a business idea is worth pursuing, and will be armed with the information necessary to continue onward with their business endeavor.
