Department of Health offers Community Health, Safety Fair July 30

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The community is invited to attend a Community Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, July 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Preserve at Oslo Apartment Complex, 2299 10th Road SW in Vero Beach.

The event is sponsored by Florida Department of Health in Indian River County and the HIV/AIDS Awareness Network.

“This free event will help participants learn to live healthier lives, and provides information on how to take better care of their bodies,” said John May, HIV Outreach Coordinator for Florida Department of Health in Indian River County.

This event offers the following services to those who attend:

• Free Blood Glucose and Cholesterol Screening-(Fasting is required)

• Free HIV Testing

• Free STD Testing
