McKee Botanical Garden celebrates Father’s Day with free admission for dads

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — McKee Botanical Garden will offer free admission to all fathers with any paid admission to the Garden in celebration of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19.

“The Garden offers an enjoyable, relaxing, and educational opportunity for families as they stroll through the lush tropical surroundings at McKee and is a great way to start a family tradition on Father’s Day,” said McKee Executive Director Christine Hobart.

The Garden has more than 10,000 native and tropical plants, historic structures and McKee’s waterlily collection is the largest in the state of Florida and is comprised of nearly 500 plants, which are in full bloom at this time.

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 12 to 5 p.m. The Garden is closed on Mondays. Current members do not qualify as a “paid admission” for this offer.
