Yoga Room opens doors with free first class for beginners

VERO BEACH — The Yoga Room, the only Bikram hot yoga studio in Vero Beach, is offering first time students a free pass beginning May 7. The hot yoga practice runs from 9-10:30 a.m. the first Saturday of every month.

“Whether you are new to yoga or have practiced for years, this is a great introduction to hot yoga at the Yoga Room,” says owner Denley Weibel, of Vero Beach.

“Our experienced Bikram yoga instructors are friendly and supportive and guide students at all levels,” Weibel said. “They create an amazing, stress free practice.”

Weibel, who opened the studio in 2010, says hot yoga has a unique way of strengthening and toning the body, improving flexibility and enhancing a sense of well-being.

The added benefit, she said, is the heat. Weibel explained that the room is intentionally heated to warm the muscles, allowing students to work deeper and safer into postures and prevent injuries. Plus the heavy sweating flushes toxins from the body.

“Hot yoga is an intense, cardiovascular workout,” Weibel said. “Practicing in a heated room increases the heart rate and makes the body work harder, but it also helps the body relax, improves breathing and develops better mental focus.”

New students to the Yoga Room who sign up at the studio the same day as their first class are also eligible for a month of unlimited hot yoga for just $75.

The Yoga Room is located at 676 Hwy US 1 in Vero Beach. For more information and a class schedule, visitwww.yogaroomvero.com.
