LAS VEGAS — Local music phenom Jake Owen will be one of several musicians taking the stage at the 51st annual Academy of County Music Awards this weekend.
Owen has been tapped to be a presenter and has joined the ranks that include Martina McBride, Kacey Musgraves, and Chris Janson, to name a couple.
In 2009, Owen was named Top New Male Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music. He has also been nominated for other awards.
The 2016 ACM Awards, co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., on April 3, beginning at 8PM ET on CBS.
