‘Fox on the Fairway’ takes the stage at Indian River State College March 31

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Join the Indian River State College (IRSC) Performing and Visual Arts Department as they present a tribute from Ken Ludwig to the great English farces of the 1930’s and 1940’s with their production of “The Fox On the Fairway” at the McAlpin Fine Arts Center on the IRSC Main Campus in Fort Pierce.

Shows start March 31, with 7 p.m. performances March 31 and April 1-2 and a 2 p.m. matinee performance April 2.

Watch the fun unfold as the audience is taken on a hilarious romp that pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it’s a furiously paced comedy recalling the Marx Brothers’ classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man’s eternal love affair with…golf.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.irsc.edu or at the box office located in the McAlpin Fine Arts Center lobby on the IRSC Main Campus at 3209 Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or by phone with VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Tickets can be picked up at will call before the shows. Call the McAlpin Fine Arts Center Box Office at (772) 462-4750 or toll-free at 1-800-220-9915.
