Master’s Academy celebrates grandparents

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — More than 150 grandparents were honored when Master’s Academy of Vero Beach held their annual Grandparents’ Day on Feb. 5. This was the largest response in the history of Grandparents’ Day celebrations at Master’s Academy.

Students invited their grandparents to spend the morning at Master’s Academy. The morning kicked off with a chapel service attended by the entire school. Dr. Smith, Headmaster, warmly welcomed the grandparents and thanked them for their partnership.

“We are grateful to have families who take an active interest in their student’s education,” said Dr. Smith, “and grandparents who are partnering with us in raising up the next generation for Christ.”

Grandparents were then invited to visit their grandchild’s classroom to observe and interact with the class. The morning concluded with a reception in the cafeteria where grandparents enjoyed cookies, coffee, punch, fellowship and a brief presentation about Master’s Academy’s mission and vision.
