Fellsmere celebrates 25 years of fun with Frog Leg Festival

The Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival will celebrate 25 years of fun when it hops into town Jan. 21-24 at the Old School Complex in Downtown Fellsmere.

Proclaimed the “Largest Frog Leg Festival” by the Guinness Book of World Records, and Home to the Guinness Book World record for “Most Frog Leg Dinners Served within One Working Day,” the festival serves up food, fun and festivity for the whole family.

Frog Leg and Gator Tail Dinners, over 100 craft booths, midway rides and games, carnival fare and live entertainment are some of the reasons to check out the Festival.

The event helps fund children’s recreational needs in the City of Fellsmere, while paying tribute to the City’s unique heritage and traditions. To date, it has raised more than $600,000 to benefit children. Admission and parking are free all 4 days, with free shuttle service on Saturday and Sunday.

Festival hours are Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
