Emerson Center art gallery features Annette Winkler paintings through Dec. 31

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Emerson Center’s Foyer Gallery of Art will feature paintings by Annette Winkler now through Dec. 31.

Originally from Berlin, Winkler was educated as a critical care nurse. Her first experience with art followed her relocation to Florida a few years ago with her family.

Here she learned video editing and photography, took art classes, and began to create striking paintings in oils and acrylics. Many of her art pieces are now in galleries in Berlin and Florida, and she has won many awards for her work.

The Foyer Gallery of Art is located in the Emerson Center at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach, on the southeast corner of the intersection at 27th Avenue and 16th Street.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sundays 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information about the Foyer Gallery or Annette Winkler, call Gallery director Ellen Rantz at (772) 581-5904 or the Emerson Center at (772) 778-5249.
