Indian River State College seeks adjunct instructors in healthcare

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Healthcare professionals with an interest in stepping into the classroom can consider adjunct teaching opportunities with Indian River State College (IRSC).

The IRSC Health Science Division is now looking for adjunct instructors for their Medical Terminology course. Positions are available at all branch campuses across the Treasure Coast area.

Instructors in Medical Terminology at IRSC teach students the language of health care, medical terminology, as well as instruct on the ability to read and comprehend fundamental terminology used in a variety of medical records and reports.

Courses focus on definition, spelling, and pronunciation of medical terms relating to the human body and disease.
