INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Democratic Women’s Club of Indian River County is sponsoring a “Politics 101” event in the Richardson Center on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Democratic Women’s Club of Indian River County, but is open to all aspiring candidates, community leaders, and citizen activists from any political party.
The founder, director, and trainer of the Politics 101 Conference is Kevin Winchell, currently the training director of the Volusia County Democratic Party. Winchell has years of experience in using data to enhance political fundraising and campaign operations. He has offered his course free of charge to more than 400 Florida residents.
More than 25 people are signed up for the Saturday event.
