Chamber of Commerce brings social media expert to Vero June 12

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Division will feature Brian Carter, best-selling author and social media expert, as guest speaker at the 2015 Annual Tourism Luncheon.

“Brian was selected as this year’s guest speaker because of the significant role social medial plays in the marketing of our area as a tourism destination,” said Allison McNeal, Indian River County Director of Tourism.

The luncheon is slated for Friday, June 12, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Vero Beach Museum of Art followed by a Facebook Marketing Workshop from 2 to 3 p.m. at Riverside Theatre. “Facebook ads are the biggest marketing opportunity in history. There’s no other way to reach TV and radio-sized audiences with this kind of targeting and this affordably,” Carter said.
