Six teams of five, each having at least one member of the opposite sex, tested their physical and mental strength and stamina at the second annual Bridge Challenge to benefit the National Navy SEAL Museum, located on A1A just south of the Indian River County line.

This year’s brave competitors were challenged to swim, right and paddle an inflatable boat, take a mental puzzle challenge, test their marksmanship shooting at a target, climb a rope ladder to the top of the Merrill Barber Bridge, run the bridge and back, climb back down the ladder and return to the dock at Riverside Café.

The winning team was Team Monaco, captained by Lt. Matt Monaco of the Vero Beach Police Department.
