VERO BEACH — As audience members of Dancing with Vero’s Stars know, entertainment abounds at this popular event. In addition to the main presentation of the dancing competition by favorite star dancers and instructors, enjoyment comes from many other areas including the glamorous red carpet, personalized videos, witty judge’s comments and from the show’s emcees. This year will be better than ever.
The 7th annual Dancing with Vero‘s Stars, which benefits the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition and the programs of Riverside Theatre will be held at Riverside Theatre on Saturday evening, May 9.
Enter Geoff Moore, the new and loquacious emcee for the stunning Red Carpet presentations which will begin at 6:15 p.m. by the front entrance of Riverside Theatre. Moore is the host for Geoff & Ali in the Mornings for 93.7 The Breeze-WGYL-FM. With over 17 years of broadcast experience both in the U.S. and abroad in a variety of formats ranging from Talk to Country and Top 40, Moore is returning to the “Dancing” event in this new role.
Attendees can expect his appearance to be nothing less than memorable. Arrive on time to cheer on the star dancers as they arrive by chauffeured limousine to take their turn on the Red Carpet with Moore.
Stage emcee for his 7th year is Hamp Elliot. Everyone in Indian River County knows Elliott, either from listening to his daily show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 93.7 The Breeze-WGYL FM, on the very popular 97.1-OCEANFM or seeing him host a local event. Not only does he get around Indian River County, as well as to points north and south, he makes friends everywhere he goes. He is always on point, spontaneous, and enjoyable. Elliott has been on radio for more than 40 years on the Treasure Coast and his star power, coupled with quick-on-his-feet interviewing skills, continuously enthrall the “Dancing” audiences.
