Past female authors brought to life at North County Library March 23

SEBASTIAN — “Florida History from Palmetto-Leaves to The Yearling to River of Grass,” with Betty Jean Steinshouer, will be presented at the North Indian River County Library on Monday, March 23, at 2 p.m.

Experience Florida through the portrayal of three women authors, in character and costume: Harriet Beecher Stowe, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas.

This program, offered free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library and funded by the Florida Humanities Council.
