Vero Beach Recreation Department announces 3 March events

VERO BEACH — A huge rummage sale to benefit the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department’s Performing Arts Department and Aerial Antics Youth Circus will be held Saturday, March 14, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The sale is located at 4201 26th Street, on the corner of 43rd Ave and 26th Street near the Old Dodgertown Golf Course. The Recreation Department will present its 56th Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 28, at Mulligan’s in Vero Beach. Children up to 9-years-old are invited to participate in this free event, which will include beachside egg hunts and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The hunting begins at 10 a.m. Be sure to bring a basket. Every participant will receive a prize. Please bring a donation of six empty plastic eggs. The Vero Beach spring break cheer camp promises a fun filled week of learning cheers, chants, jumps, stunts, dances, tumbling, making great friends, and so much more. Participants will prepare a routine for an exhibition at the end of the week. Anyone ages 7-years and older are welcome. Campers will receive a free t-shirt. Cheer Camp is held during Indian River County Spring Break, Monday through Thursday, March 30 through April 2, at Leisure Square, 3705 16th Street.
