Festival of Trees announces Songfest participants

VERO BEACH — The Festival of Trees, running Nov.21-23 at the Agnes Wahlstrom Youth Playhouse and Anne Morton Theatre, will once again host a Songfest on Saturday, Nov. 22.

Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., festival goers can enjoy the music of area choirs while viewing the displays of decorated trees, wreaths, gingerbreads and more.

Taking part are First United Methodist Church Hand Bell Choir, First Presbyterian Church, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach, the Vero Beach Choral Society and Sebastian Charter Jr. High School Chorus. Children’s Theatre students will perform as well.

Now in its 17th year, the Festival of Trees is the annual fund raising event to benefit Riverside Children’s Theatre. This year the Songfest is made possible through the generosity of Robin Lloyd and Associates.
