Children’s Home Society of Florida receives $2,500 SunTrust donation

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Children’s Home Society of Florida, the State’s largest and leading child-serving organization, received $2,500 from the SunTrust Foundation to support their Transitional Living Program. Thanks to Suntrust’s generous donation, our foster teens will have the opportunity to continue to pursue meaningful, productive and successful lives.

Our Transitional Living Program allows teens in foster care receive guidance, coaching and mentoring to help them reach their personal, educational and career goals. We help teens understand what it means to be a stable, supportive adult so they can begin building self-sufficient futures.

Each year, Children’s Home Society of Florida helps more than 12,000 children and family members along the Treasure Coast. We work to protect more children from the tragedies of abuse and neglect, heal the pain of those who have suffered, guide teens to transition successfully into adulthood and create and strengthen families in our community.
