Meet Ace: H.A.L.O. Rescue’s Pet of the week.

Ace is a 5-month old, male Catahoula Leopard puppy with a big heart and lots of smarts. Ace was born into a home with humans who saw no use for him because he’s a little different – Ace is deaf.

In fact, the owners did not even see a reason to name the puppy due to his disability.

But after a couple weeks at H.A.L.O., staff and volunteers say he is learning handsignals very quickly and easily. Just because he can’t hear does not mean his new family will have a hard time communicating!

Jacquie Petron, founder of H.A.L.O., said Ace is “a very sweet, gentle, loving, and smart little guy.”

She added, “he is just beautiful.”

Ace is mostly white with light brown markings, a hint of pink around his nose, and has bright blue eyes. His puppy dog face is one that is hard not to fall in love with immediately.

Visit H.A.L.O. Rescue at 710 Jackson St., Sebastian, or call (772) 589-7297 for more information on Ace and other pets available for adoption.
