BUZZ: Facebook… NSA… you decide

If we didn’t need social media to stay in touch in the world today I think I might just delete all of my accounts. Not that I would trust they would actually be “deleted.”

Facebook has been analyzing their data and says that 100 days before a relationship forms there is a “slow but steady increase in the number of timeline posts shared between the future couple,” according to facebook.

Their research goes on to show once the relationship starts the timeline posts decrease. They saw a “peak of 1.67 posts per day 12 days before the relationship begins, and a lowest point of 1.53 posts per day 85 days into the relationship.”

They are attributing the decrease to the couple wanting to spend more time together than interacting online.

All in all this creeps me out, but the day and age we’re in, unfortunately it’s something we just will have to deal with.
