VERO BEACH — Former President George W. Bush is in town today for the Riverside Theatre’s Distinguished Lecturer Series. He was due to arrive at the Vero Beach Municipal Airport earlier today in advance of his 3:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. speeches.
Only season ticket holders for the Riverside Theatre’s series were allowed to attend the speech. Others were allowed to watch a simulcast of the speeches at the Waxlax Theatre.
Afterward, Bush is expected to have a private dinner at the RedStick Golf Club in Vero Beach.
