IRC Boys & Girls Club receives 4 star rating

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator, has awarded the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County with its highest possible ranking for the third consecutive year, an honor held by only 10% of charities reviewed worldwide.

According to Charity Navigator, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County received top honors due to their excellent governance structure and fiscal responsibility.

“The Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County consistently outperforms most other charities in America. Their exceptional designation from Charity Navigator differentiates them from their peers and demonstrates to the public that they are worthy of their trust,” said Ken Berger, President and Chief Executive Officer of Charity Navigator.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need it the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

They operate three clubs; one each in Vero Beach, Sebastian, and Fellsmere, all within a school bus ride to every child in the county. More than 1,500 children in our community are served by the clubs annually, equipping them with the tools necessary to succeed in school and in life.
