VERO BEACH — Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program (GHCOP) is pleased to announce a $20,000 donation to CASTLE, the premiere program for the prevention of child abuse and parent education since 1981.
The grant is for the Safe Families and Strengthening Families programs in Indian River County. CASTLE’s values: promoting strong families, safety for young children, and the teaching of parenting skills, are very much in synch with Grand Harbor community values.
Grand Harbor has been a longtime supporter of CASTLE, with a support focus on the core Safe Parenting program.
Beginning last year, GHCOP became the lead sponsor for the Strengthening Families program in IRC, which will be especially effective in preventing abuse and unsafe family issues before they occur.
