VERO BEACH — Vero Beach Opera presents Serata D’Amore Concert on Sunday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, located at 1707 16th St. in Vero Beach.
“An Evening of Love” will feature Italian Metropolitan Opera Tenor Marcello Giordani performing with Soprano Jan Cornelius and Soprano Suzanne Vinnik. Tickets start at $30 for reserved seating.
In addition, the Marcello Giordani Foundation (MGF,) in collaboration with and under the sponsorship of the Vero Beach Opera, will hold its 3rd International Vocal Competition from March 25-30 in Vero Beach.
The preliminaries will occur from March 25-28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The final round of the competition will take place on the evening of Saturday, March 30, at 7 p.m. The event, in concert form and open to the public, will bring the finalists of the competition to the stage and provide the general public with a unique opportunity to experience an important aspect of the performing arts and the benefits that the performing arts provide.
The MGF is a not for profit organization dedicated to the help and support of young opera singers.
General admission cost is only $20 for all 4 days of the preliminaries, and reserved seating for the finals concert starts at $30.

Marcello Giordani has been hailed by the international press as one of the most important tenors on the opera stage today. He has appeared in all of the world’s major opera houses and has sung with many of today’s most renowned conductors.
