Unitarian Universalist Fellowship hosts guest speaker Feb. 24

VERO BEACH — Rev. Russ Savage, minister of the Blue Ridge UU congregation in Sperryville, VA, will conduct the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach.

His sermon title is Getting Along With One Another; examining the mechanics of personal relationships in the light of ancient teachings and modern psychology.

Rev. Savage holds degrees from the University of Maryland and the Harvard Divinity School. He has served churches in Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, and Virginia, and was an associate minister at the River Road UU congregation when the senior minister was Rev. Scott Alexander, now UUFVB senior minister.

Before entering the ministry, Rev. Savage was an executive with AT&T for 24 years, retiring from Bell Laboratories.

Children’s religious education and child care are available at 10 a.m. on Sundays.

The UU Fellowship, a liberal religion on the Treasure Coast, is located on the southeast corner of 27th Ave. and 16th St.
