Space Coast Symphony presents Rodgers & Hammerstein at the Movies on April 29

VERO BEACH —  The Space Coast Symphony presents “Rodgers & Hammerstein at the Movies” on Sunday, April 29, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2365 Pine Ave. in Vero Beach.

The SCSO toasts Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, the incomparable songwriting duo of Broadway and Hollywood, in a concert of favorite movie memories.

Enjoy unforgettable melodies from such films as Sound of Music, Victory at Sea, Oklahoma, The King and I, South Pacific and more. Straight from the vaults of the legendary Metro-Goldwyn Mayer, RKO, Warner, Turner Classic Movies, Universal and Paramount Studios, “Rodgers & Hammerstein at the Movies” features dazzling new 35mm prints of beloved film scenes, accompanied by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets at the door are an additional $5. Students 18 years of age and under are admitted free. Discounted tickets are available through the SCSO Symphony for Everyone program.

Artistic Director Aaron T. Collins knows this concert will be a real crowd-pleaser.
