Tickets available for author Bob Woodward at Emerson Center Saturday

VERO BEACH — The season is winding down and some seasonal residents have begun returning to their northern homes, opening up seats that would otherwise be filled for Saturday’s appearance of Bob Woodward at the Emerson Center.

Tickets have become available for both the 4 and 7 p.m. shows. Space is limited.

Woodward is participating in the Celebrated Speakers Series program. He was part of the reporting team who explored the Watergate story in the early 1970s. In ensuing years, he has continued to pry into the inner machinations of the powerful and those who aspire to power.

Beyond Watergate, he has covered the Supreme Court, the CIA, the Pentagon, President Clinton, the Federal Reserve, and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He has written books on the wars of both Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. His latest book, “Obama’s Wars,” focuses on Obama’s critical decisions about the wars abroad and the worldwide fight against terrorism.

Woodward is the associate editor of The Washington Post and has authored or co-authored 16 books, 12 of which have been nonfiction national bestsellers.

Tickets are available by calling (772) 778-5249 or online, http://theemersoncenter.tix.com/Schedule.asp?OrganizationNumber=2800.
