Irish-American Society invites public to lunch, dancing Wednesdays

VERO BEACH — The Florida Irish-American Society, 1314 20th St., Vero Beach, invites the public for home-made lunch and dessert while listening and dancing to the big band sound of a local senior musical group.

This event happens every Wednesday at noon, and no reservation is necessary. Cost is $7, and everyone is encouraged to donate a pantry item to the group’s food drive.

The Indian River Civic Association, along with the Irish Club, is conducting the food drive every Wednesday to benefit the needy Veterans of Indian River County.
