VERO BEACH — It was a balmy Sunday afternoon in Vero Beach but 134 guests took a break indoors to enjoy Jazz with Pizzazz at Regency Park on Jan. 29. The event has built up a loyal following among jazz aficionados on the Treasure Coast.

“We had such a delightful afternoon making new friends and entertaining our residents,” said Kolette Koch, Community Relations Specialist for Regency Park. “We always welcome the community to visit us, enjoy our featured entertainment and tour Regency Park. Most people don’t realize that we have such a great venue for entertaining, from a small intimate group up to 100 guests in our ballroom.”

The highlight of January’s entertainment was Solfege, a jazz trio featuring the amazing talent of Dr. Ray Adams, Dave Mundy and Richie Mola, who also infuse inspiration to the next generation of jazz musicians at Indian River Charter School. In addition to taking requests, the band played “Name that Tune.”

The top five winners won fabulous prizes including a stock of Regency Park signature wine, Regency Park Brunch gift certificates and a night on the town for lunch or dinner at Vero Beach’s landmark restaurant, the Ocean Grille.

In addition to thirst-quenching complimentary wine and champagne, Regency Park’s in-house chef, Mitch Dembrowski, created many of his signature appetizers, which residents are treated to on a regular basis at the residential community’s happy hour celebrations.
