Vero Beach Museum of Art invites K-12 educators to special event

VERO BEACH – The Vero Beach Museum of Art cordially invites Indian River County K-12 educators and administrators to attend its free and exclusive event “Evening for Educators” to be held on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5 to 7 pm at the Museum.

Attendees will be treated to free admission to art exhibitions including In The Tradition of Wyeth: Contemporary Watercolor Masters, Inspired by Nature: Celebrating the Beauty and Complexity of Trees, and Against the Grain: Wood Sculpture by Robert F. Lyon.

There will also be free gallery and art studio activities, giveaways, live music by Vero’s homegrown band Old Barber Bridge, and reception fare along with refreshments.

Since its opening in 1986, the Vero Beach Museum of Art has existed as an educational resource for students and educators, providing programs that allow them to visit, participate, and partner with the Museum in order to enhance school curriculum and provide visual arts awareness for Indian River County students.
