Education Foundation thanks donors of Tools to Learn School Supply Closet

VERO BEACH — Our attitude is filled with gratitude to the many business and individuals who support the Tools to Learn School Supply Closet. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Indian River Lawyers Auxiliary and the Education Foundation of Indian River County.

This year Community Church of Vero Beach, the Jungle Club, Panera Bread, Seacoast National Bank, Space Coast Credit Union and Vero Beach Fashion Outlets are joined the effort to collect funds and the following items: dry erase markers, primary markers, glue sticks, copy paper, 1 and 2 inch binders, loose leaf paper (wide rule), pencils, pens, erasers, journals, colored pencils and index cards.

Through this partnership the Education Foundation and the Indian River County Lawyers Auxiliary hopes to offer mini grants. The grants will help to fund items not listed on the “Tools to Learn School Supply Closet” site. Requesting schools will complete a form that will be available on the Education Foundation site: www.edfoundationirc.org. This program is open to all public and private Indian River County Schools (grades K-12).

There is still time to support this effort! Cash donations can be made by mailing a check made payable to the Education Foundation of IRC, P.O. Box 7046, Vero Beach, FL 32961. Please note in the memo of the check, “Tools to Learn.”
