VERO BEACH – The Palm Trio, an innovative ensemble featuring trumpet, trombone, and piano kick off the Space Coast Symphony Summer Chamber Series with Now and Then: Music in Time, a free concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 29 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1850 6th Avenue in Vero Beach.
The concert will showcase a variety of music performed by three young and rising stars in the music world, with electrifying performances including selections from Georges Bizet’s thrilling opera, Carmen, the fantastically energetic duet, Fandango by Joseph Turrin, the distinct Waltz No. 2 from Dmitri Shotakovich’s Jazz Suite, the striking and searing writing of Eric Ewazen’s Pastorale and Duet for a Ceremony.
