Sara O’Connel Svelling, 74, of Sebastian, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born July 18, 1936 in Bangor, Maine.
She had been a resident of Sebastian for 37 years, coming from Manahawkin, N.J.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Arnold; sons, Kris Svelling, of Sebastian, Arnold Svelling Jr., of Charleston, S.C.; daughters, Esther Svelling Cummins, of Sebastian, Kristine Lanera, of White Plains, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Esther O’Connel and her brother, Jeff O’ Connel.
No services are planned at this time.
